Topspec Comprehensive Balancer - 15kg

TopSpec Comprehensive Feed Balancer is a concentrated, nutrient-rich balancer for horses and ponies requiring high-quality protein and broad nutritional support, including horses in work, training or competition. It is designed to complement forage and other feeds while helping support muscle development, topline, hoof quality and digestive function.

Key features

• High-quality vegetable protein and essential amino acids, including lysine, for muscle maintenance and recovery.
• Cereal-grain-free, low-sugar and low-starch formulation with a comprehensive vitamin and mineral profile.
• Biotin, amino acids and trace elements to support healthy hoof growth.
• Antioxidants including vitamins E and A and selenium, plus digestive support from prebiotic MOS.
• Concentrated daily feeding can help balance the ration without large quantities of fortified hard feed.

Typical analysis

Protein 25%; oil 5.7%; fibre 8.5%; starch 7.5%; digestible energy 12.5 MJ/kg; calcium 2.4%; magnesium 0.6%; vitamin E 2,500 IU/kg; biotin 30mg/kg.

Feeding

TopSpec's example for a 525kg horse in hard work uses approximately 525g daily, split across three feeds, with ad-lib forage and other feeds selected according to condition and workload. Follow the manufacturer's current ration guide for your horse and introduce gradually. Provide fresh water and salt; avoid unnecessarily duplicating vitamin/mineral supplements.
