Suregrow Fertiliser - 20kg

Suregrow Fertiliser – 20kg is a slow-release fertiliser developed for horse and pony paddocks. It supplies nitrogen, phosphorus and sulphur to support grass growth, root development and a denser, more resilient sward without encouraging the rapid flush of lush growth associated with some conventional agricultural fertilisers.

Application and timing

Suregrow's published guidance is 4–5 bags (20kg each) per acre for spring/summer growth, typically early March to late July, or 4 bags per acre for autumn growth, usually September to mid-November. Spread evenly by hand or with a calibrated spreader. Light rain or heavy dew after spreading helps the pellets dissolve.

Horse paddock guidance

The manufacturer says horses need not be removed during application provided the pasture has at least 50mm (2 inches) of grass. Follow the current label, local ground conditions and good spreading practice; do not leave concentrated heaps accessible to animals. Keep unused fertiliser sealed and dry, away from feed. Not for animal consumption.
