Topspec Senior Lite Balancer - 15kg

TopSpec Senior Lite Feed Balancer is a low-calorie, concentrated balancer for older horses and ponies that are good doers or need their weight carefully managed. Its cereal-grain-free, low-sugar and low-starch formulation combines daily vitamins and minerals with digestive and joint support, without being designed to add condition.

Why choose Senior Lite?

• Provides glucosamine at 10g per day for a 500kg horse at the recommended feeding rate, alongside nutrients involved in joint and cartilage maintenance.
• Includes protected probiotic yeast and prebiotic MOS to support hindgut function, particularly important for older horses whose forage chewing may be less effective.
• Contains biotin, amino acids and trace minerals to support hoof quality, plus antioxidant vitamins and selenium.
• Balances a forage-based, calorie-controlled diet without the need for a separate general vitamin and mineral supplement in most cases.

Typical analysis

Protein 15%; oil 3.7%; fibre 17%; starch 7%; digestible energy 9.1 MJ/kg; calcium 2.4%; magnesium 0.6%; vitamin E 1,500 IU/kg; biotin 30mg/kg.

Feeding and pack size

TopSpec states that a 15kg sack lasts approximately 30 days for a 500kg horse (about 500g daily) or 60 days for a 250kg pony. Feed with suitable forage and adjust the wider ration to the horse's condition and workload. Introduce gradually, supply fresh water and access to salt, and consult the manufacturer's current feeding guide for individual requirements.

Pack: 15kg. Store cool and dry.
